abstract | This method for forming a multilayer coating film includes: a step for coating a base coating material (X) having a solids content of 30-62 mass% on an object to be coated, thereby forming a base coating film having a cured film thickness of 6-45 μm; a step for coating a photoluminescent pigment dispersion (Y) having a solids content of 0.1-10 mass% on the base coating film so as to form a photoluminescent coating film having a cured film thickness of 0.1-5.0 μm; a step for coating a two-component clear coating material (Z) containing a hydroxyl group-containing resin and a polyisocyanate compound on the photoluminescent coating film so as to form a clear coating film; and a step for simultaneously curing the base coating film, the photoluminescent coating film and the clear coating film by heating. The method is characterized in that: the base coating material (X) contains a polyurethane resin (A), an alcohol (B) having 6-12 carbon atoms, and an organic solvent (C) having an HLB value of 7-9; and the photoluminescent pigment dispersion (Y) contains water, a flaky photoluminescent pigment (P), a resin emulsion (Q), and cellulose nanofibers (R). |
