abstract | Provided are: an antistatic treatment agent for fibers which does not impair the texture of a processed fabric and has excellent washing durability; and a method for producing the same. The antistatic treatment agent for fibers comprises at least one selected from among a tertiary amine compound, acid salts of the tertiary amine compound, and a quaternized product of the tertiary amine compound, wherein, of three groups bonded to a nitrogen atom of the tertiary amine compound, two groups are alkyl groups having 1 to 4 carbon atoms and one group is an organic group including a carbonyl group. The tertiary amine compound is preferably represented by general formula (1) below. |
