Masking particles in which drug-containing particles including a drug, an acid, and a carbonate are covered by a coating layer including a water-insoluble polymer adequately suppress release of the drug in the oral cavity and pharynx, release the drug rapidly after swallowing, and furthermore facilitate control of the drug release suppression time. The acid can be one or more types of organic acid. The carbonate can be one or more types of water-soluble carbonate. Examples of oral pharmaceutical compositions containing masking particles include tablets, granules, fine granules, and powders. |
