abstract |
Provided are: a filament having high retention of straight-line strength and nodal strength after water-absorbency treatment; and a fishing line. The filament contains a polyamide resin (A) constituted from diamine-derived constituent units and dicarboxylic-acid-derived constituent units, at least 70 mol% of the diamine-derived constituent units being derived from a xylylene diamine, and at least 70 mol% of the dicarboxylic-acid-derived constituent units being derived from a C11-14 α,ω-straight-chain aliphatic dicarboxylic acid. |
