abstract Provided is a composition for mononuclear cell-containing plasma separation capable of suppressing flow of the composition for mononuclear cell-containing plasma separation during storage, capable of forming a partition well during centrifugation, and capable of obtaining mononuclear cell-containing plasma with little admixture of corpuscular components other than mononuclear cells. The composition for mononuclear cell-containing plasma separation according to the present invention includes an organic component having fluidity at 25°C and two or more types of inorganic fine powder, and the specific gravity at 25°C is from 1.060 to 1.080.
