Provided is a flame-retardant foamed object which has high flame retardancy and is excellent in terms of flexibility and stress dispersion. Also provided is a foam member including such flame-retardant foamed object as a flame-retardant foam layer. The flame-retardant foamed object of the present invention has an apparent density of 0.02 g/cm 3 to 0.40 g/cm 3 , a load at 50% compression of 0.5 N/cm 2 to 8.0 N/cm 2 , and an elongation at breakage by a tensile test of 120% or less. |
