abstract A fused cycloalkane fuel, a heterogeneous photocatalytic preparation method thereof, and a use of a photocatalyst in improving target product selectivity. The fused cycloalkane fuel has a structure shown in formula (I), wherein n = 1 or 2; and R1, R2, R3, R4, and R5 are independently H, or -CH3, or -CH2CH3. The obtained fused cycloalkane fuel has excellent properties of high density and caloricity, low freezing point, and high thermal stability, and the preparation method thereof has mild reaction conditions and high target product selectivity.
