abstract | The invention relates to a tyre tread comprising a rubber composition on the basis of between at least 50 and 100 phr of a first diene elastomer, the first diene elastomer being a polybutadiene-based elastomer modified with a functional group that can interact with silica as a reinforcing filler; optionally between 0 and 50 phr of a second diene elastomer; at least 20 phr of carbon black; less than 40 phr of silica as a reinforcing filler; a coupling agent; a plasticising system comprising a plasticising resin having a glass transition temperature of more than 20°C; and a crosslinking system on the basis of organic peroxide; the total content of the first diene elastomer and the second diene elastomer in the composition is between 80 and 100 phr. |
