The present invention provides: a method for stabilizing ascorbate oxidase, characterized by bringing the ascorbate oxidase to coexist with at least one surfactant selected from the group consisting of polyoxyethylene distyrenated phenyl ether, polyoxyethylene tribenzylphenyl ether, polyoxyethylene lauryl ether, a polyoxyethylene alkyl ether, a polyoxyalkylene alkyl ether and polyoxyethylene nonylphenyl ether; and others.
