abstract The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition comprising a physical mixture of sacubitril sodium and valsartan disodium, the X-ray powder diffraction pattern of valsartan disodium comprising characteristic peaks at the following 2 theta (± 0.2) angles: 4.70 °, 9.29 °, 22.34 °, measured with Cu Kα radiation. The invention further relates to the use of said pharmaceutical composition as a medicament, particularly in the treatment of heart failure.
