The invention relates to a method for filling the cavities of moulded bodies with a filling mass, as well as a device for carrying out the method. The filling mass contains an initiator in addition to a binding agent and filling material. This initiator is activated before the filling mass is filled into the cavities, and permits an accelerated setting of the filling mass in the cavity. The initiator is a chemical compound which is converted into a reactive or excited state by means of activation, in particular via a chemical reaction, thermal excitation or excitation via electromagnetic radiation, and which, in this reactive or excited state, starts, i.e. initiates, or accelerates the cross-linking reaction of the binding agent. The initiator can be a redox initiator, a thermal initiator and/or a photoinitiator. |
