abstract |
[Problem] To provide a collagen sponge having excellent mechanical strength and a method for producing the collagen sponge. [Solution] A collagen sponge which is a porous structure having pores, the collagen sponge having tensile strengths of 1-5 N in both the longitudinal direction and the width direction. The collagen sponge can be produced by a production method comprising the following steps: (1) a step in which a collagen solution obtained by mixing collagen with a solvent is stirred and defoamed; (2) a step in which the collagen solution is freeze-dried; and (3) a step in which the dried collagen after the freeze-drying is insolubilized. |
