Provided is a packaging material for batteries, which has excellent formability. A packaging material for batteries, which is configured from a laminate that sequentially comprises at least a base material layer, an adhesive layer, a barrier layer and a thermally fusible resin layer in this order, and which is configured such that: the base material layer is provided with a first bonding layer between a polyester film layer and a polyamide film layer; and the adhesive layer and the first bonding layer have hardnesses of 50 MPa or less as determined by a nanoindentation method. |
