abstract | Provided is a chemical sensor that can achieve high detection precision. A chemical sensor 100 that is characterized by having a soft magnetic film 2, a magnetoresistance effect element 3, a first film 10 that is arranged above the soft magnetic film 2, and a second film 20 that is arranged above the magnetoresistance effect element 3, the soft magnetic film 2 being arranged such that, when seen from a direction that is perpendicular to the film surface of the soft magnetic film 2, at least one portion thereof does not overlap the magnetoresistance effect element 3, the magnetoresistance effect element 3 being arranged such that, as seen from the direction that is perpendicular to the film surface of the soft magnetic film 2, at least one portion thereof does not overlap the soft magnetic film 2, and the solubility of the second film 20 with respect to a specific liquid being greater than that of the first film 10. |
