titleOfInvention | Method for decontaminating granular material contaminated by radioactive material |
abstract | The purpose of the present invention is to provide a method for decontaminating a granular material contaminated by a radioactive material, whereby the efficiency of decontamination of radioactive cesium 134 and 137 is increased. The method for decontaminating a granular material contaminated by a radioactive material according to the present invention has a pre-treatment step for mixing a granular material contaminated by a radioactive material with a sodium-phosphate-based dispersing agent, and a decontamination step for mixing the granular material contaminated by a radioactive material subjected to the pre-treatment step and a porous granular carbonized burned product comprising paper sludge, whereby radioactive cesium 134 and 137 in the granular material contaminated by a radioactive material is incorporated into the porous granular carbonized burned product. |
