abstract |
Provided is a novel method for producing optically active 2-(2-fluorobiphenyl-4-yl) propanoic acid. This method is characterized by reacting an organometallic reagent prepared by the action of the compound represented by formula [1] and magnesium or the like, with a compound represented by formula [2], in the presence of a catalytic amount of an optically active compound represented by formula [3] and a catalytic amount of a nickel compound, and converting the resulting compound represented by formula [4] to a compound represented by formula [5] or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. |
