abstract | A light-emitting element package according to an embodiment comprises: first and second lead frames; an insulating layer arranged between the first and second lead frames so as to electrically insulate the first and second lead frames from each other; a package body that exposes a part of the front surface of at least one of the first and second lead frames; a light-emitting element, which is arranged on the exposed front surface of at least one of the first and second lead frames, and which has first and second electrodes that are electrically connected to the first and second lead frames, respectively; and a Zener diode arranged above the first lead frame to be spaced from the light-emitting element with the package body interposed therebetween, wherein the package body defines a cavity together with the front surface of least one of the first and second lead frames, which has been exposed, the lower end of a sloping surface of the cavity, which reflects light emitted from the light-emitting element, is arranged to be spaced from the light-emitting element, which is arranged on the bottom surface of the cavity, by a predetermined distance, and the thickness of the package body, which is arranged between the Zener diode and the light-emitting element, is larger than the thickness of the Zener diode or the thickness of the light-emitting element. |
