abstract | In the present invention, a cellulose ester film, as an optical film (F) formed by a solution casting film formation method, contains an ester compound polymerized by making a diol and a dicarboxylic acid compound undergo an esterification reaction. If the elastic modulus of the film in a length direction is Gm (MPa) and the elastic modulus of the film in a width direction perpendicular to the length direction is Gt (MPa), the expression Gm + 200 MPa < Gt < Gm + 2500 MPa is satisfied. Moreover, the friction-charged electrostatic potential when the front surface and the back surface of the cellulose ester film are rubbed at 30 mm/sec is within ±300 V. |
