abstract | (57) Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a cellulose ester film having excellent optical properties and flatness as a protective film for a polarizing plate, and a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: A cellulose ester solution is cast on a metal support by a solution casting film forming method, and a peeled film is always held in a transport direction and a film is stretched in a width direction.
