A beer-flavor alcoholic beverage substantially free of dietary fiber, the beer-flavor alcoholic beverage containing (A) a component derived from wheat, (B) one or more acids selected from the group consisting of citric acid, lactic acid, phosphoric acid, and malic acid, and (C) one or more salts selected from the group consisting of citrates, lactates, phosphates, and malates, and having a component (B) content of 180-850 ppm in terms of citric acid, a purine content of less than 0.08 mg/100 mL, and an alcohol concentration of 1-10 v/v%. The beer-flavor alcoholic beverage of the present invention has a good balance of "taste," "acidity," "sweetness," and "sense of alcohol" while having a reduced purine level, and makes it possible to provide a new taste as a luxury product. |
