abstract Provided are a diagnosis-assistance-information generation method, image processing device, diagnosis-assistance-information generation system, and image processing program capable of obtaining more accurate diagnosis information. A diagnosis-assistance-information generation method for generating diagnosis assistance information using a sample in which a specific biological material has been stained by a staining reagent using a fluorescent substance is characterized by having: a first input step for inputting a first image representing the expression of the biological material in the sample using fluorescent bright spots; an analysis area information calculation step for extracting prescribed areas of the sample as analysis areas and calculating analysis area information including at least one from among the number of analysis areas, the analysis area surface areas, and the analysis area circumferences; a bright spot area information extraction step for extracting bright spot areas representing the fluorescent bright spots from the first image and extracting bright spot area information including information about the distribution of the bright spot areas; and an image score calculation step for calculating an image score that is the diagnosis assistance information on the basis of the analysis area information and the bright spot area information.
