Method for predicting the cellular sensitivity of a patient to an ionising beam from cells sampled from said patient in an unirradiated or not very irradiated zone, in which: (i) said sampled cells are expanded, these expanded cells forming "the cellular sample"; (ii) with said cellular sample, the average number of nuclear foci obtained with the marker pH2AX at the observation time t (this average number being called N pH2AX (t)), said observation time t being the time t=0 min (called t0, unirradiated state) and the observation time t4 after irradiation with an absorbed dose D, is determined; and (iii) the total dose not to be exceeded (TDNTBE), expressed in Gray, is determined using at least the parameter N pH2AX (t4); and in which method t4 is a set value that represents the time for which the rate of double-strand DNA breaks reaches its residual value. |
