titleOfInvention Method and kit for identifying and quantifying at least one single-stranded target nucleic acid
abstract The invention concerns a method for identifying and quantifying at least one single-stranded target nucleic acid (13) and a kit for detecting at least one single-stranded target nucleic acid (13) in a sample. The method comprises providing at least one solid support (1) with at least one catcher oligonucleotide (5) immobilized on the support (1), contacting the support (1) with at least one first adapter oligonucleotide (7), at least one second adapter oligonucleotide (9) and at least one single-stranded target nucleic acid (13), the first and/or the second adapter oligonucleotide (7, 9) having a label, and the target nucleic acid (13) is identified by detecting the label of the first and/or the second adapter oligonucleotide (7, 9).
