abstract The purpose of the present invention is to provide a tetrazole compound or salt thereof which exhibits excellent heat resistance and excellent responsiveness to long wavelength ultraviolet radiation having a wavelength of 300 nm or higher, an adhesive composition that contains this tetrazole compound or salt thereof, and an adhesive tape. The present invention is a tetrazole compound or salt thereof which has a molecular weight of 800 or lower and which has a structure in which the 5-positions of two tetrazole structures are bonded to each other by a group having an aromatic ring in the main chain.
