abstract |
The present invention relates to a polycarbonate manufacturing method comprising process (a) and process (b): (a) a process for obtaining a prepolymer by reacting a specified fluorine-containing carbonate (Compound (1), etc.) with an aromatic dihydroxy compound in the presence of a condensation catalyst; and (b) a process for obtaining the polycarbonate by heating the prepolymer at a temperature less than the melting temperature of said prepolymer and polymerizing said prepolymer in the solid phase while discharging fluorine-containing alcohol byproduct from the system. |
