abstract | The present invention relates to a liquid crystal compound, having improved compound processability by forming a multiple physical bond between molecules, in the shape of a dendron and a preparation method therefor. The liquid crystal compound having the structure of a dendron, according to the present invention, allows coating and printing due to the excellent processability thereof and thus enables the production of large-area flexible elements. The liquid crystal compound according to the present invention can form a high-dimensional structure by maximizing physical bonding strength between liquid crystals and controlling same. The liquid crystal compound in the shape of a dendron according to the present invention has excellent solubility in a general solvent in comparison with conventional liquid crystals and has a wider liquid crystal temperature range. The liquid crystal compound in the shape of a dendron according to the present invention can improve the arrangement of liquid crystal molecules when used as an additive for a liquid crystal layer and can also improve orientation properties as the added liquid crystals in the shape of a dendron move to the bottom surface of the liquid crystal layer. |
