abstract The present invention relates to a process for the production of a halogen-free, flame-retardant polyolefin foam, a polyolefin foam obtainable by the process and a laminate using the polyolefin foam. As halogen-free flame-retardant a combination of a phosphorus compound and a 1,3,5-triazine compound is used. The produced flame-retardant polyolefin foam exhibits particular advantageous mechanical, physical and chemical properties which allow its application especially in the construction and transport sectors.
