abstract |
[Problem] The purpose of the present invention is to provide a polymer actuator element and a device and method for driving the polymer actuator element making it possible in particular to stably drive an element section of curved deformation. [Solution] A polymer actuator element (1) provided with an element section (1a) having an electrolyte layer (2) and a first electrode layer (3) and second electrode layer (4) formed on both thickness-direction surfaces of the electrolyte layer (2), curving occurring when a voltage is applied across the electrode layers (3, 4), wherein the polymer actuator element (1) is characterized in that a reference electrode layer (7) in contact with the electrolyte layer (2) is provided between the first electrode layer (3) and the second electrode layer (4). |
