Use of linear poly(n-alkyl acrylate) polymers as depressants of the pour point of crude oil, in particular of paraffinic crude oil, characterized in that said n-alkyl is a C16 to C30 n-alkyl, and preferably a C18, C20 and/or C22 n‑alkyl, in that their average molar mass M n is between 5000 and 100 000 g.mol ‑1 , preferably between 8000 and 70 000 g.mol -1 , and in that their polydispersity index is between 1.00 and 1.50. The polymers may be homopolymers or copolymers. They are manufactured by the RAFT process. |
