The problem to be solved by the present invention is to provide a method for forming a multilayered coating film that enables a multilayered coating film, which is capable of curing at low temperatures and in a short period, and has an excellent finished appearance, to be obtained. The present invention provides a method for forming a multilayered coating film, whereby at least a single-layered base coat paint and a clear coat paint are painted, in order, on an object to be painted, said method being characterized by using a clear coat paint containing: an acrylic resin (A) containing a hydroxyl group in a specific hydroxyl group value range; a polyisocyanate compound (B) in a specific viscosity range; and an organometallic catalyst (C) comprising a metal compound (C1), wherein the metals are selected from a group comprising zinc, tin, zirconium, bismuth, lead, cobalt, manganese, titanium, aluminum and molybdenum, and an amidine compound (C2). |
