Provided is a method for producing polycarbonate polyols having a specific structure and specific properties in which a dihydroxy compound and a carbonic diester undergo polycondensation by ester exchange reactions in the presence of a catalyst, wherein at least one reactor has an internal volume of at least 20L and is equipped with a reflux condenser and a heating means for heating the reactor using a heat medium, the temperature difference between the temperature of said heat medium and that of the reaction fluid in the reactor is at least 5°C, and the total amount of the monomers distilled over all stages of the reaction is at most 15 weight% of the total amount of raw monomers. |
