titleOfInvention Thienopyrimidine derivatives, pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof, method for preparing thienopyrimidine derivatives, and pharmaceutical composition containing thienopyrimidine derivatives as active ingredients for preventing or treating diabetes-related diseases
abstract The present invention relates to novel thienopyrimidine derivatives, and to a pharmaceutical composition containing thienopyrimidine derivatives as active ingredients for preventing or treating diabetes or various diabetes-related diseases. The thienopyrimidine derivatives of the present invention efficiently accelerate the activity of G protein-coupled receptor 119 (GPR119), which has the effects of increasing glucose-dependent insulin secretion and inhibiting increases in appetite and body weight, thus enhancing glucose metabolism and lipid metabolism. Therefore, the thienopyrimidine derivatives of the present invention may be valuably used in a composition for efficiently preventing and treating not only diabetes but also various complications of diabetes such as obesity, hyperlipidemia, and diabetic vascular diseases.
