Provided is: a marker for determination of the sensitivity to an anticancer agent, which is capable of determining the therapeutic response in individual patients; and a novel means for the treatment of cancers, which utilizes the marker for determination of the sensitivity to an anticancer agent. A marker for determination of the sensitivity to an anticancer agent, which is composed of one or more substances that are selected from among N-acetylglucosamine, substances on the amino acid metabolism system, substances on the nucleic acid metabolism system, substances on the pentose phosphate pathway, substances on the glycolytic system, substances on the TCA cycle, substances on the polyamine metabolism system, lauric acid, 6-phosphogluconic acid, butyric acid, 4-methylpyrazole, isobutylamine, glycolic acid, NADH, NAD+, and substances on the metabolism system with which any one of the above-mentioned substances is associated. |
