The present invention provides a method for diagnosing cancer by measuring a sugar chain change of a protein involved in cancer development and metastasis. The present invention relates to a method for diagnosing cancer by measuring a protein involved in cancer development and metastasis, and a diagnostic kit using the method. More specifically, the present invention relates to a method for diagnosing cancer by measuring a change in protein glycosylation and a cancer diagnostic kit using the method. The method and kit of the present invention can be usefully used to diagnose cancer including colorectal cancer, stomach cancer, lung cancer and liver cancer with high sensitivity.
