Provided is a method for screening a prophylactic and/or therapeutic agent for cardiomyopathy, said method comprising:n(1) a step for contacting a test substance with myocardial cells or tissue derived from pluripotent stem cells with lamin A/C gene mutation; andn(2) a step for selecting, as a candidate for a prophylactic and/or therapeutic agent for cardiomyopathy, a test substance which changes a character expressed by the aforesaid myocardial cells or tissue, said character being different from an original character expressed by normal myocardial cells or tissue when no test substance is contacted therewith, so as to approximate the different character to the original character, or a test substance which inhibits or retards the expression of the aforesaid character different from the original character. |
