Provided is a method for manufacturing pneumatic tyres exhibiting excellent durability in which a tyre is manufactured by: cutting a predetermined length of a layered sheet having layered therein a sheet, which comprises a thermoplastic resin composition of a thermoplastic resin/elastomer blend, and a rubber, which undergoes vulcanizing adhesion with said thermoplastic resin; lap splicing the ends of the layered sheet; and carrying out vulcanization molding. The provided method does not exhibit the problem of the inner liner layer constituents, i.e. the thermoplastic resin composition sheet and the tyre rubber sheet which undergoes vulcanizing adhesion with the thermoplastic resin composition sheet, peeling away from each other. The tyre manufacturing method has a step for forming an inner liner layer by: cutting a predetermined length of a layered sheet having layered therein a sheet, which comprises a thermoplastic resin composition of a thermoplastic resin/elastomer blend, and a rubber, which undergoes vulcanizing adhesion with said thermoplastic resin; lap splicing the ends of the layered sheet; and carrying out vulcanization molding. When cutting the predetermined length of the layered sheet, thermal cutting is carried out at a temperature equal to or above the melting point of the thermoplastic resin. |
