abstract Provided are a nitrogenated heteroaromatic compound useful as an organic semiconductor material and an organic electronic device using this compound.nThe nitrogenated heteroaromatic compound has the condensed indole skeleton represented by formula (1), and an organic semiconductor material contains this compound. Furthermore, an organic electronic device uses this semiconductor material. In formula (1), X is N-A', O, S or Se; A is an alkyl group, cycloalkyl group, alkenyl group, alkynyl group, aromatic hydrocarbon group, or a heteroaromatic ring group that does not contain a condensed heterocycle of four rings or more; and R is hydrogen, an alkyl group, cycloalkyl group, alkenyl group, alkynyl group, or a heteroaromatic ring group that does not contain a condensed heterocycle of four rings or more.
