The present invention is a resin composition and a molded object obtained by melt-molding said resin composition. Said resin composition contains: a crystalline hydrogenated cyclic olefin ring-opening polymer having a repeating unit derived from a polycyclic norbornene monomer; 1 to 4 parts of a wax per 100 parts of said hydrogenated polymer, by weight; and a nucleating agent. This invention makes it possible to: obtain a resin composition capable of producing a molded object that is resistant to deformation from the effects of heat and crystallizes sufficiently even if injection-molded using a comparatively low mold temperature; and easily obtain said molded object—in particular, an LED-light reflector that maintains excellent optical reflectance over a long period of time without decreases therein, even under high-temperature conditions. |
