A water-based jet printing ink composition which comprises a pigment, a pigment-dispersing resin, resin fine particles (A), water, and a hydrophilic solvent (B), wherein the resin fine particles (A) are fine particles obtained by the emulsion polymerization of an ethylenically unsaturated monomer component and the hydrophilic solvent (B) comprises a glycol-type solvent (H) and an ethylene glycol ether-type solvent (I), said ethylenically unsaturated monomer component comprising: 20 to 80wt% of (C) an aromatic ethylenically unsaturated monomer that does not have any ionic functional group; 0.6 to 5wt% of (F) a water-soluble ethylenically unsaturated monomer consisting of both 0.5 to 3wt% of (D) an ethylenically unsaturated monomer that has a sulfonic acid group and 0.1 to 3wt% of (E) a non-ionic water-soluble ethylenically unsaturated monomer; and 0.1 to 10wt% of (G) a crosslinking ethylenically unsaturated monomer. |
