Provided is a room-temperature molten salt that has both ion conductivity and excellent electron conductivity. Said room-temperature molten salt contains a first imidazolium salt, the cation of which is represented by general formula (1) and the anion of which is FeCl 4 , and a second imidazolium salt, the cation of which is represented by general formula (2) and the anion of which is Cl. The provided room-temperature molten salt is characterized by containing less than or equal to 100 moles of the second imidazolium salt per 100 moles of the first imidazolium salt. |
