Disclosed are: a composition for forming a water-repellent film, which enables the formation of a water-repellent film having excellent water droplets-removing properties and also having abrasion resistance and weather resistance; a base material having a water-repellent film attached thereto, which has a water-repellent layer that is formed from the composition and has excellent water droplets-removing properties, abrasion resistance and weather resistance; a process for producing the base material; and an article for transport devices.nSpecifically disclosed are: a composition for forming a water-repellent film, which contains, as the main components, a specific organosilane compound having a fluorinated organic group containing an ethereal oxygen bond and a specific organosilane compound having a fluorinated organic group (which does not contain any ethereal oxygen bond); a base material having a water-repellent film attached thereto, which comprises a base material and a water-repellent film formed on the surface of the base material, wherein the water-repellent film has a water-repellent layer formed from the composition as the outermost layer thereof; and an article for transport devices, which comprises the base material. |
