titleOfInvention | Pre-expanded polypropylene resin beads and process for producing same |
abstract | Disclosed are pre-expanded polypropylene resin beads which contain (A) a glycerol monoester of a C 6-24 fatty acid and/or a polyglycerol monoester of a C 6-24 fatty acid and (B) a glycerol diester of a C 6-24 fatty acid and/or a polyglycerol diester of a C 6-24 fatty acid, wherein the weight ratio of (A) to (B), (A)/(B), is 1.3-10 and the total content of (A) and (B) is 0.3-5 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of the polypropylene resin. The pre-expanded beads can be satisfactorily subjected to in-mold foam molding without requiring cleaning with a chemical such as nitric acid or sodium metaphosphate, and can give, through in-mold foam molding, a molded polypropylene resin which exhibits satisfactory antistatic performance. |
