Disclosed are: an original plate for a lithographic printing plate, which can be developed satisfactorily with a developing solution having a pH value of 2 to 10 and has excellent plate wear resistance and stain resistance; and a method for producing a lithographic printing plate by using the original plate. Specifically disclosed are: an original plate for a lithographic printing plate, which has a photosensitive layer comprising the components (A), (B) and (C) shown below; and a method for producing a lithographic printing plate by using the original plate. (A) A copolymer having a repeating unit represented by formula (1) and at least one of a repeating unit represented by formula (2) and a repeating unit represented by formula (3) [in the formulae, A and B independently represent a hetero atom; R and R 1 to R 9 independently represent a univalent substituent; L represents a bivalent linkage group; X represents a univalent group containing a hydroxy group, an acid group, an alkyleneoxy group, an amide group or an ether group, an amino group, an ammonium group or a salt produced by neutralizing an acid group; and L 0 represents a single bond or a bivalent hydrocarbon group]. (B) A compound having an ethylenically unsaturated bond. (C) A polymerization initiator. |
