abstract Disclosed is a method that can efficiently recover a compound comprising a polyester-derived acid residue and a crosslinked part-derived residue by subjecting a thermoset resin comprising a polyester part and a crosslinked polyester part to subcritical water decomposition. More specifically, the method is characterized by comprising the steps of (I) subjecting the thermoset resin to subcritical water decomposition, (II) dissolving a solid matter containing the resultant compound comprising a polyester-derived acid residue and a crosslinked part-derived residue in an organic solvent in which the compound can be dissolved in a higher solubility than the solubility of the compound in water, and (III) recovering the compound dissolved in the solvent.
