Compounds represented by the general formula (1) [wherein A is aryl; R1 is N-(optionally substituted C1-6 alkyl)-N-(optionally substituted C1-6 alkyl)amino-C1-6 alkyl; R2 is hydrogen or optionally substituted C1-6 alkyl; R3 is optionally substituted C1-6 alkyl or C3-6 cycloalkyl-C1-4 alkyl; m is 1 to 3; n is 0; and p is 0 to 2], or pharmacologically acceptable salts or solvates thereof. These compounds are novel lincomycin derivatives having potent activity against drug-resistant pneumococcus which is a recent problem in the treatment of infectious disease. The compounds can be used as antibacterial agent and are useful in the prevention or treatment of bacterial infectious disease. |
