abstract |
The present invention relates to a peptide having a sequence selected from the group consisting of SEQ ID NOs. 1 to 16 and to the uses thereof. The claimed peptides are dimeric forms of Pen-Lys-Pro-Val, eventually amidated at the C-terminus. The dimers are formed by means of disulfide Linkages at the Pen side chains. The claimed peptides are useful for the treatment of inflammations, fibroproliferative diseases, such as fibrosis, and microbial infections, e.g. from bacteria and fungi. |
