Primer set for amplification of obesity gene, reagent for amplification of obesity gene comprising the primer set, and use of the primer set |
abstract |
Disclosed is a primer set for the amplification of a region of interest containing a detection target site in an obesity gene (β2AR gene, β3AR gene, and UCP1 gene) by a gene amplification method. The primer set is characterized by being capable of amplifying the region specifically. Three pairs of primer sets are used, each of which comprises a combination of a forward primer comprising a nucleotide sequence depicted in each of SEQ ID NO:9 or 109, SEQ ID NO:25 and SEQ ID NO:43 and a reverse primer comprising a nucleotide sequence depicted in each of SEQ ID NO:18, SEQ ID NO:30 and SEQ ID NO:63, respectively. By using these primer sets, it becomes possible to simultaneously and specifically amplify regions each containing a site where the polymorphism in each of β2AR gene, β3AR gene and UCP1 gene to be detected occurs in a single reaction solution. |
