abstract |
Provided is a capacitor electrode having a porous layer composed of fiber and/or whisker containing tungsten oxide. The tungsten oxide fiber and the tungsten oxide whisker contain a composition of W18O49 as a main component. The tungsten oxide fiber and the tungsten oxide whisker are formed on a base material. To manufacture the capacitor electrode, a material of the base material or its precursor is heated in vacuum or in an inert gas with a small quantity of residual oxygen, and the fiber and/or the whisker is formed. |
