The invention relates to a process for producing an in particular porous shaped ceramic body which is optionally reinforced with fibres and/or semifinished textile products such as woven fabrics, wherein a powder A and at least one further powder B are suspended in a liquid, after which a shaped body is formed from the suspension prepared in this way, optionally in combination with fibres and/or a semifinished textile product, and the shaped body is optionally sintered. According to the invention, the powders A and B are suspended at a pH of the liquid which corresponds approximately to a viscosity minimum of the suspension, as a result of which high solids contents in the suspension can be set at low viscosities. This allows rapid production of largely crack-free shaped bodies having microstructures which are advantageously low in defects. |
