abstract | It is intended to provide an aromatic polycarbonate resin composition, which is excellent in surface impact strength and flame retardancy and appropriately usable in producing thin-wall molded articles, and a molded article thereof. An aromatic polycarbonate resin composition comprising, per 100 parts by weight of a blend composed of from 60 to 90% by weight of an aromatic polycarbonate resin (a), from 10 to 40% by weight of a rubbery polymer/aromatic vinyl/vinyl cyanide-based copolymer (b-1) and from 0 to 35% by weight of an aromatic vinyl/vinyl cyanide-based copolymer (b-2), from 10 to 40 parts by weight of a phosphorus-based flame retardant (c), from 0 to 5 parts by weight of a fluoropolyolefin (d) and from 0 to 50 parts by weight of an inorganic filler (e), wherein the ratio of the rubbery polymer component to the sum of the components (b-1) and (b-2) is from 31 to 50% by weight and the Charpy notched impact strength in the flow-parallel direction (Cpf) and the Charpy notched impact strength in the flow-vertical direction (Cpc) of an injection molded article of the aromatic polycarbonate resin composition, which are measured in accordance with JIS K7111, fulfill the relationship represented by the following formula (1): Cpf/Cpc<2 (1) |
